Excelsior

 

Excelsior is an idyllic and charming city located about 20 miles from the Twin Cities. The city maintains a beautiful balance between small-town living and lively downtown, offering plenty of shopping and restaurant options. Excelsior’s historic commercial district along Water Street attracts people from all over the Twin Cities, with plenty of lakeside shops and restaurants to explore. A landmark corner attraction is the Bull and Wren, an authentic Irish pub and great gathering spot for a craft cocktail. There are so many unique offerings found in the charming lake town of Excelsior: breweries, coffee shops and a variety of one of a kind eateries. In the summer months, every visit to Excelsior has to end with an ice cream cone from Licks Unlimited, a family run old fashioned ice cream shop.
